Licensing of economic activity

According to p. 3 clause 2 of Article 8 of the Law of Ukraine "On Investment Activity" for carrying out economic activity subject to licensing, participants of investment activity must obtain the corresponding license, which is issued in the order established by the legislation.

It should be noted that economic activity on the basis of a license issued by a licensing body, which is the central body of executive authorities, is carried out on the whole territory of Ukraine.

Economic activity on the basis of a license issued by a licensing body, which is a local executive body or a specially authorized executive body of councils, is carried out on the territory of the respective administrative and territorial unit.

Licensing of economic activity in Ukraine is carried out in accordance with the Law of Ukraine "On Licensing of Types of Economic Activities" of 02.03.2015 № 222- VII

The types of economic activities subject to licensing are defined in accordance with Article 7 of this Law.

Licensing bodies are determined in accordance with the Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of August 5, 2015 No. 609;
