With the support of "Arcelor Mittal", a large-scale educational project has started to train highly qualified metallurgical specialists in Kryvyi Rih. Young men and women possessthe opportunity and prospectto get a quality education, a profession and a career progression.

ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih has signed a memorandum on a new bachelor's program with Kryvyi Rih National University, the State University of Economics and Technology and the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. The company invests about UAH 70 million in training, scholarships and international internships in three years. As part of the project, 11th-grade graduates will have the opportunity to study for free at the university on a unique educational program with the involvement of the best Ukrainian and foreign professionals.
In the future, graduates of the educational project will form a team of specialists for ArcelorMittal.
First Deputy Mayor of Kryvyi Rih Yevhen Udod emphasized, "One of the most important directions of the Strategy of Mayor Konstiantyn Pavlov is to improve the quality of youth education. We also integrate industrial enterprises into this process, and in particular, we support the ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih project, which will be implemented in the city's higher education institutions. But this is only the first stage. The education system needs to be improved starting from the school. Young people must undergo vocational guidance, receive both general knowledge and specialized skills. Our main goal is to preserve the uniqueness of the city, make it more attractive and comfortable, and, in this way, to preserve the youth who want to stay in Kryvyi Rih."
